Breast Cancer Awareness 5k

One of my very best friend's mom is dear to my heart. She is a survivor of Breast Cancer. She has been like a second mom to me and has made me feel welcome at her home whenever I feel the need/want. She has included me in Holidays, celebrations, and many more activities.

Happy Moment: Registering for a 5k Breast Cancer Awareness walk dedicated to her :)

Chalk Art Festival

For years and YEARS I have wanted to participate in the Chalk Art Festival at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake. It will be a fun and rewarding challenge as we "paint" the streets of Gateway raising money for the Utah Foster Care Foundation.

Wake Up Call

I am not, I repeat NOT, a morning person. My cats have tried to cure me of my insanity however

Zoo Fun :)

I have been in a dating funk lately, seems that either men are TOO enthusiastic... or not at all lol. But this Saturday I went to the zoo between sessions on a date.

Girls Night

This week has been a long one... I know, it's only Tuesday. But little sleep and being sick hampers time.

Table - Finished Product

I know.... I have been SERIOUSLY slacking on my updates!
This was actually completed a while ago... but there was an extremely happy moment when I completed it and took it to it's new owner :D
She won't even let people put stuff on it without coasters! tee hee :)

Jennette

One of my very best buddies is this awesome artist and she recently moved to utah with her hubby and baby. I went to visit her today and she drew this picture for me in about 2 hours while I watched and she taught me techniques for my tablet :D
She is the one who got me interested in art again as a teen and my inspiration!

Apologies, and Christmas Trees!

I know... I am HORRIBLE at keeping up with this blog right now! I am going to do better I swear! I will try to get in at LEAST 2 a day... on in the morning and one in the evening.

I am a firm believer in squirting cats when they do something naughty... and I own 2 precious little darlings that just test my patience sometimes! For Christmas I set up my little 3' artificial tree... and put it on TOP of my TV so that my kittens wouldn't get into it, exhibit "A" :

So the other day I step out of the shower and hear the little bell ornaments jingling..... I run out to get mad at whichever kitten is (I THOUGHT) on the tv, under the tree.... and find this, exhibit "B" :

It took me 2 minutes to get her to let go and untangle her :S .... I didn't want to squirt her in case she made my tree come crashing down.
